A mutual friend, a channeler, mystic, and British Army retiree, referred me to Alex Bennet when I sent him some strange photographs I was getting in my yard of structured and unstructured misty shapes. He told me Alex Bennet was also getting these "Mysts", as she calls them. I emailed Alex and got a prompt and warm reply about this phenomenon we seemed to have in common, although we live thousands of miles from each other.
In Alex and David's book, THE JOURNEY INTO THE MYST, David Bennet offers some scientific explanations for this metaphysical phenomenon, strange mists which are proved to be sentient and playful, but I am more in resonance with Alex's personal, and spiritual experiences with them, having had similar experiences with them myself in Arizona.
I was most interested in her methods of questioning them and attracting them to participate with her in a joyful dance of communication and love. I read the first 80 pages before I could stop at all. This book is delightful and informative, and opens doors in your mind and heart. I recommend it to anyone who has ever asked for validation of any kind that the non-physical realms exist, as well as for those who know it does. –Nancy McKinney

Patterns in the Myst (Vol 2 of The Myst Series)

The Journey into the Myst was just the beginning for Drs. Alex and David Bennet. Volume II of the Myst Series brings Science into the Spiritual experience, bringing to bear what the Bennets have learned through their research and educational experiences in physics, neuroscience, human systems, knowledge management and human development. Embracing the paralogical, patterns in the Myst are observed, felt, interpreted, analyzed and compared in terms of their physical make-up, non-randomness, intelligent sources and potential implications. Along the way, the Bennets were provided amazing pictures reflecting the forming of the Myst. The Bennets shift to introspection in the third volume of the series (available in Spring 2013) to explore the continuing impact of the Myst experience on the human psyche.

We have read both The Journey into The Myst and this sequel expansion of that information into scientific observation and facts. Let me explain how we became involved and why this book is so key to learning how The Myst forms. We met the Bennets just after they opened The Inn at Mountain Quest in the early 2000s and they are the last scientific minded couple anyone would expect to encounter non-random interaction with energy and embrace it as a connection to phenomena in which they interact regularly in the presence of many others.

We first experienced The Myst when Alex asked us if we were interested in shooting some photos of it. Although we were skeptical, within the first few shots of her camera, two of us experienced seeing The Myst swirl around her camera, us, the farmyard and the cold night air. Upon taking her camera card in and viewing on our laptop, we saw several formations which appeared to be people, animals, and angels with wings. Upon closer inspection of blowing up the images, we saw vapor drops forming into The Myst and many small faces within the vapor. We then learned more of their adventure from both of the Bennets and read The Journey into The Myst to learn the whole story of how The Myst developed.

Once we heard Patterns in the Myst was released, we read it immediately. Patterns in the Myst further defines the formations which have been observed, how they form and are created with non-randomness by a form of intelligent sources beyond our earthly comprehension. Many key formation patterns are identified and shown by excellent Myst example photos. This book shifts styles from The Journey into The Myst where that approach to telling their story of The Myst was more fascination-styled. This book shows familiar patterns encountered, and elaborates on our understanding more about The Myst through scientific evaluation, knowledge comparison, and very well documented photos of evidence. Our minds may tend to believe a wonderful tale through our love of storytelling but this book answers our getting back to logical questions of whether The Myst is for real and a scientifically documented truth.
