The Golden Age of Humanity
Purpose of Research: To explore the mind/body/spirit shifts underway and begin investigating new
ways of being, thinking and acting that can help move us into the Golden Age of Humanity.
It is difficult to let go of our past and jump out of the current perturbations that collide with our
everyday life from every direction and imagine a world that is connected and at peace, a place where
love and joy abound. This goes beyond our families, beyond our communities and beyond Humanity.
As, presumably, the most intelligent species on this planet, we have a responsibility and a duty to
create, provide and act with high moral standards and wisdom as we continue to learn, develop, create
and apply knowledge and leadership to aid and support the growth and prosperity of all life forms.
Taking a paralogical approach, in early 2013 a group of explorers, innovators and educators came
together to take a closer look at the changing environment. The focus was on identifying ways to
accelerate and support our movement into the Golden Age of Humanity. The group—informally
referring to themselves as the Universal Knowledge Guild—is comprised of Dr. Tom McCabe (a
mathematician and world-renown cyclomatic complexity pioneer), Bo Newman (originator of a
knowledge calculus and the KFAM knowledge flow modeling methodology), Dr. John Lewis (creator of
The Explanation Age model), Dr. Art Murray (founder of applied Knowledge Sciences), Dr. Francesco
Calabrese (the "godfather" of the Institute for Knowledge and Innovation at George Washington
University), Dr. Alex Bennet (a professor at the Bangkok Institute for Knowledge and Innovation
Management and Co-founder of MQI), and Dr. David Bennet (originator of the ICAS theory of
organization and Co-founder of MQI).
The starting point was to explore what we think or know about the shift of Humanity that is
underway. that brainstorming is shared with you here.

We also share a draft imaginative look at our not-too-distant future world, and invite you to share
your thoughts. This draft is meant to be an idea generator and will be continuously updated and
shifted as these thoughts develop. email your thoughts to alex@mountainquestinstitute.com and
