The Llama and the Lamb
When Ella (an older white Llama) hurt herself falling on the ice and lost the full use of her back legs, she was
sad to not be able to move about with the younger boys (Pixar and Noony). Her neck was very uncomfortable when
she "watched" them since she sits on the ground now and was always having to look upwards. So as Fall came
around, Andrew decided to go get her a lamb as a companion. Well, there was one lamb that a neighboring farmer
had not been able to catch and said he would trade for a Llama (at the time Mountain Quest had a fourth Llama
that didn't interact very well with the boys). So Andrew was able to push the skittish lamb (named Clover) into
the trailer and bring her over to the small paddock outside Ella's home. It wasn't long before the lamb looked to
Ella for everything. Ella serves as her mom, her shepherd and her friend!
This pair is quite popular with young visitors. For very small children, Ella is happy for them to sit on her for
pictures. For those a bit older, Clover gets some good exercise being chased around the barn! The two are
together except when Ella is eating (Clover likes to help Ella eat!)
